Storage Conditions
Store tightly closed in compatible acid-resistant containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat, sparks, flames, strong oxidizers, strong bases and incompatible metals. Provide spill containment.

Inspect container seals, liners and pallet wrapping before unloading. Retain product and lot labels; use clean, dry tools and reseal opened packages promptly.

What Is Glacial Acetic Acid?
Glacial acetic acid, CAS 64-19-7, EC 200-580-7, is concentrated acetic acid with a sharp vinegar odour. It is used to make vinegar and as an acidulant and flavour in sauces and pickles, and as a chemical raw material and solvent.
The specification sets assay ≥99.8%, freezing point ≥16.2°C, evaporation residue ≤0.005%, heavy metals as lead ≤2 mg/kg and arsenic ≤1 mg/kg, and the permanganate test passes. It freezes in cold weather.
It ships as Class 8 with subsidiary Class 3. It is corrosive and flammable, so use acid-resistant equipment and ventilation. Food use requires a grade and documents that meet the rules of the destination market.
