FAQ
Petrochemical Additives Sourcing Questions
Which petrochemical additives do you supply?
Our petrochemical additives range covers fuel additives (2-EHN, NMA, MMT), refinery and catalyst chemicals (DMDS, TBPS, MDEA, tetrachloroethylene, TBC, nickel salts), oilfield and water chemicals (DBNPA, PolyDADMAC, benzalkonium chloride) and epoxy reactive diluents.
What is the difference between DMDS and TBPS for catalyst sulfiding?
DMDS carries more sulfur per kilogram (about 68%). TBPS (≥55% sulfur) decomposes at a lower temperature and has a flash point of 100 °C or more, which some refiners prefer for handling. The choice depends on the unit, catalyst and start-up procedure.
How are the products packed and shipped?
Liquids ship in drums, IBCs or ISO tanks; solids in bags or drums. Hazardous products ship with SDS and dangerous-goods documentation under the applicable transport rules.
What documents do you provide for vendor qualification?
COA with every shipment, TDS and SDS, company documents for vendor registration, and third-party inspection reports on request.
Can I get a sample before ordering?
Yes. We can provide free samples for lab evaluation. Dangerous goods travel with an approved courier, which can take longer.
Do you have an office in the Middle East?
Yes. ZXCHEM UAE in Abu Dhabi supports customers in the GCC, the wider Middle East and Africa. Contact sales@zxchemuae.com.
