What Is Naringin?
Naringin is a citrus flavanone glycoside identified by CAS 10236-47-2. It is supplied as a pale white to yellow powder with a minimum 98% HPLC assay.
The glycoside is chemically distinct from naringenin, its aglycone, and from mixed citrus bioflavonoid extracts. This high-assay ingredient allows professional formulation work to focus on a defined citrus constituent. Its characteristic bitter contribution and powder behavior should be assessed in the intended matrix when evaluating botanical, flavor-related or other ingredient applications.
