Keep tightly closed in a cool, ventilated area with corrosion-resistant containment. Separate from strong oxidizers, bases and heat; prevent contamination and uncontrolled reaction.

What Is Hypophosphorous Acid?
Hypophosphorous acid, CAS 6303-21-5, is a phosphorus acid with strong reducing power. It is used in electroless nickel plating, as a reducing agent and catalyst in chemical synthesis, and as an antioxidant and decolourizer in resin manufacture.
Two grades are available: 50–52% and at least 65% in water.
It ships as UN 3264, Class 8, packing group II. Heating or contact with oxidizers can release phosphine, so use corrosion-resistant equipment and control heat.
