Storage & Shipping

Storage Conditions

Keep sealed in a clean, cool, ventilated place. Protect from contamination and unnecessary heating; keep separate from strong oxidizers and use suitable clean containers.

Shelf life

Two years in sealed original packaging.

Packaging

220 kg drums / 1,100 kg IBC

Handling & Protection

Avoid splashes and aerosol formation. Wear chemical-resistant gloves and splash goggles; add face protection during open bulk transfer. Clean spills promptly because surfactant liquid creates slippery surfaces.

What Is APG 0810?

APG 0810 is an aqueous alkyl polyglucoside surfactant based on short-chain C8–10 alkyl groups. It is also described as decyl octyl glycoside. This commercial material has a distribution of alkyl chains and glycoside oligomers; a single fixed molecular formula or molecular weight does not adequately represent the supplied mixture.

The ZXCHEM grade specifies 50.0–52.0% solids, maximum Hazen color 50, maximum free fatty alcohol 1.0% and maximum ash 3.0%. These parameters help formulators compare concentration, appearance and processing suitability. The material is colorless to pale yellow liquid at 20°C.

Its nonionic character supports combination with different surfactant systems. Typical evaluation areas include liquid detergents, personal-care cleansers, and wetting or emulsion-stabilization packages used in oil drilling. Validate foaming, compatibility and performance in the complete formulation; raw-material identity does not establish finished-product approval.

The identified APG 0810 manufacturer reference is non-dangerous goods for road, sea and air transport, while severe eye damage remains a handling concern. The downloadable SDS states its concentrated reference scope separately from the 50–52% supplied grade. Standard ZXCHEM packing is 220 kg drums or 1,100 kg IBC, with two-year shelf life in sealed original packaging.

FORMULATION

APG 0810 Applications

Liquid detergents and industrial cleaning

Nonionic surfactant for wetting, foaming and soil removal in compatible detergent systems. Adjust dosage for the supplied 50–52% solids and evaluate performance with the other surfactants.

Personal-care cleanser development

Foaming and cleansing ingredient for selected shampoo, body-wash and facial-cleanser formulations. Qualify the ordered material and assess irritation, preservation and finished-product requirements.

Oilfield wetting and emulsifying systems

Wetting and dispersion ingredient for selected drilling-fluid and emulsion formulations. Evaluate salinity, temperature, emulsion stability and foam control under the intended field conditions.
