Standard lead time is approximately 14 days from order confirmation.
Oleamidopropyl Dimethylamine Specifications
Colour value retains the specified ethanol dilution; the source does not identify a colour scale. Amine value is a supply parameter, not an assay percentage.
Commercial Information
Storage & Shipping
Storage Conditions
Store sealed in a cool, dry, ventilated place with secondary containment. Segregate strong acids and oxidizers; protect the material from moisture and excessive heat.
Shelf life
Two years in sealed original packaging under recommended storage conditions.
Packaging
50 kg / 200 kg drums
Handling & Protection
Transfer with controlled ventilation and splash protection. Wear chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing and eye/face protection. Avoid skin contact, mist exposure and contamination of work areas; provide emergency washing facilities.
What Is Oleamidopropyl Dimethylamine?
Oleamidopropyl dimethylamine contains an oleic-acid-derived amide group and a tertiary dimethylamine group linked through a propyl chain. Its long hydrocarbon chain and amine functionality make it a useful raw material for selected surfactant and interfacial systems.
The supply specification controls amine value at 150–165 mg KOH/g and free fatty acids at ≤2.0%. Colour is tested in a 25% ethanol solution with a maximum source value of 500. Colour scale is not specified, so this value should be compared on the same agreed method rather than treated as an APHA limit.
PKO-O supports development of oilfield thickening and foaming systems, emulsifiers, flotation agents and downstream quaternary-ammonium derivatives. Acid response, salinity, temperature and other components influence the final performance; qualify the complete formulation before setting a dosage.
The liquid is Class 8 corrosive under the matched substance reference, UN 2735, packing group II. Industrial raw-material supply does not establish cosmetic or other regulated end-use qualification. Review purity, residual amines and finished-formulation requirements for the intended market.

Oleamidopropyl Dimethylamine FAQ
Which Oleamidopropyl Dimethylamine grade should I choose?
Compare Amine value 150–165 mg KOH/g against your process requirements. Check the TDS for assay and impurity limits, then test a sample for compatibility and performance in your process.
Can I request a Oleamidopropyl Dimethylamine sample for testing?
Request a free sample for testing. Tell us the intended PKO-O application, preferred grade and the tests you plan to perform, so that we can arrange a suitable evaluation sample and technical information.
How is Oleamidopropyl Dimethylamine packed and shipped?
Standard packing is 50 kg / 200 kg drums. The usual MOQ is 1,000 kg, with a lead time of approximately 14 days from order confirmation. The reference bulk transport classification is Class 8 — Corrosive.
Which documents are available for Oleamidopropyl Dimethylamine?
The TDS covers supply specifications; the reference SDS covers safety and transport. Both can be downloaded on this page. A batch COA can be provided with supply. Request documents for the grade and physical form you are ordering.
