Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA) at a Glance
Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA, CAS 111-41-1) is a reactive amino alcohol supplied as a clear liquid with assay ≥99.6 wt%. Its two amine groups and hydroxyl group make it a useful intermediate for surfactants, chelating agents, fuel additives, epoxy curing systems and coatings. ZXCHEM supplies industrial AEEA in 25 kg drums with technical specifications, a reference SDS and free samples for testing.

Standard lead time is approximately 14 days from order confirmation.
Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA) Specifications
Assay is the stated supply limit. Physical values are reference data, not additional release limits. Density is expressed in g/cm³ at 20°C; pH and viscosity retain their unspecified test basis. TDS and SDS flash-point sources are distinguished.
Commercial Information
Storage & Shipping
Storage Conditions
Keep tightly closed in a cool, dry, ventilated area protected from light. Restrict access to trained personnel; segregate acids, oxidizers, copper, zinc and nitrite-containing materials.
Packaging Integrity
Check drum seals and container compatibility before dispensing. Prevent moisture uptake and cross-contamination, retain chemical identification labels and close partly used drums promptly.
Packaging
25 kg drums
Handling & Protection
Use closed transfer or local extraction. Avoid liquid contact, mist and vapor exposure. Wear suitable chemical-resistant gloves, protective clothing, splash goggles and face protection; provide emergency eyewash and washing facilities.
What Is Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA)?
Aminoethylethanolamine is an ethyleneamine-family intermediate with a primary amine, a secondary amine and a hydroxyl group. The same substance is commonly called N-(2-aminoethyl)ethanolamine. Its formula is C4H12N2O and molecular weight is 104.15 g/mol. The amino and alcohol functionality supports subsequent chemical synthesis.
The supplied industrial grade is a clear liquid with assay of at least 99.6 wt%. It is miscible with water and soluble in ethanol according to the ZXCHEM technical data. Use the release specification to assess the ordered material; physical-property reference values do not replace an agreed batch certificate of analysis.
AEEA is used to manufacture detergent surfactants, fabric-softener intermediates, chelating agents and specialty fuel additives. It can also be evaluated in epoxy hardener and coating systems. Selection should consider chemical reactivity, formulation compatibility and the required final-product properties, rather than concentration alone.
AEEA is Class 8 corrosive material. The downloadable reference SDS identifies sensitization and reproductive hazards in addition to contact injury. Establish controlled handling and appropriate process safeguards before sample testing or bulk transfer.

Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA) FAQ
Which Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA) grade should I choose?
Compare Assay ≥99.6 wt% against your process requirements. Check the TDS for assay and impurity limits, then test a sample for compatibility and performance in your process.
Can I request a Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA) sample for testing?
Request a free sample for testing. Tell us the intended N-(2-Aminoethyl)ethanolamine application, preferred grade and the tests you plan to perform, so that we can arrange a suitable evaluation sample and technical information.
How is Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA) packed and shipped?
Standard packing is 25 kg drums. The usual MOQ is 1,000 kg, with a lead time of approximately 14 days from order confirmation. The reference bulk transport classification is Class 8 — Corrosive.
Which documents are available for Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA)?
The TDS covers supply specifications; the reference SDS covers safety and transport. Both can be downloaded on this page. A batch COA can be provided with supply. Request documents for the grade and physical form you are ordering.
Request a Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA) Quotation
