What Is Sodium Persulfate?
Sodium persulfate, CAS 7775-27-1, is a strong oxidizer. It is used for PCB micro-etching and metal surface treatment, as an initiator for emulsion polymerization, and for soil and groundwater remediation.
The crystal grade has assay ≥99.0%, with limits on active oxygen, moisture and ionic and metal impurities.
It ships as UN 1505, Class 5.1, packing group III. It is a respiratory and skin sensitizer; avoid dust and keep it away from combustibles.
