What Is Tricalcium Phosphate?
Tricalcium phosphate (TCP), CAS 10103-46-5, Ca3(PO4)2, molecular weight 310.18 g/mol, is a white calcium phosphate powder. It is used as an anti-caking and flow agent in salt, sugar and powdered foods, and as a calcium source.
The specification sets calcium 34.0–40.0%, lead ≤0.0002%, heavy metals ≤0.0015%, moisture ≤0.5% and 325-mesh passing. Calcium content is different from total purity.
It is not regulated as dangerous goods. Food use requires a grade and documents that meet the rules of the destination market.
As a tricalcium phosphate supplier and exporter in China, ZXCHEM packs the white powder in 25 kg composite woven or paper bags with PE liners.
