What Is Rutin?
Rutin, also known as rutoside, is a flavonoid glycoside associated with Sophora japonica. It is identified by CAS 153-18-4 and offered as a yellow-brown powder in 95% and 98% HPLC assay grades.
Rutin contains a sugar group attached to the flavonoid structure and is therefore distinct from quercetin. Selecting between the available assay grades changes the proportion of rutin incorporated into a formulation. Its powder form and analytical specification support professional evaluation of botanical-derived flavonoid ingredients.
