Tomato Lycopene is a red carotenoid preparation derived from tomato material and standardized for lycopene content. CAS 502-65-8, molecular formula C40H56 and molecular mass 536.87 g/mol describe the lycopene component rather than the complete natural extract or carrier preparation.
The local 2026 TDS specifies lycopene >5%, characteristic odour and 100% passing through 30 mesh. Cadmium, arsenic, lead, total-heavy-metal and microbiological limits are retained. Ethyl acetate is the declared extraction-process solvent; it does not mean that the supplied red powder is an ethyl-acetate liquid.
Qualified food and nutritional ingredient developers can evaluate this carotenoid preparation using the declared concentration and carrier form. Test dispersion, shade, oxidation, heat and light stability in the complete recipe and package.
