Sodium gluconate, CAS 527-07-1, is the water-soluble sodium salt of gluconic acid, commonly produced by glucose fermentation. Its formula is C6H11NaO7 and molecular weight is 218.14 g/mol. ZXCHEM supplies white crystalline powder with assay ≥98.0%.
The supply specification controls heavy metals, lead, arsenic, chloride, sulphate, reducing substances, pH and drying loss. The pH interval is 6.5–7.5 and loss on drying is ≤1.0%.
