Storage Conditions
Keep tightly closed in clean compatible containers in a cool, dry area. Protect the enzyme preparation from excessive heat, direct sunlight, freezing and contamination. Follow the storage temperature on the ordered grade label.
Packaging Integrity
Inspect container seals, liners and pallet wrapping before unloading. Retain product and lot labels; use clean, dry tools and reseal opened packages promptly.

Handling & Protection
Use enclosed low-splash transfer with adequate ventilation. Prevent enzyme aerosols and dried-residue dust; do not spray or use high-pressure cleaning. Wear gloves, eye protection and work clothing, with suitable respiratory protection when airborne enzyme cannot be controlled.
What Is Cellulase?
Cellulase is a cellulose-hydrolysing enzyme preparation supplied by ZXCHEM as brown liquid with activity >100,000 U/mL. CAS 9012-54-8 and EC 232-734-4 identify the cellulase enzyme component. A commercial enzyme preparation has no single small-molecule formula or molecular weight.
The supply specification includes pH 4.8–5.2, density ≤1.25 g/mL and total bacteria count ≤50,000 CFU/g, with slight fermentation odour. Enzyme activity depends on the assay substrate, pH, temperature and endpoint; compare the test method when evaluating commercial activities.
Paper and pulp processors evaluate cellulase for controlled fibre modification, refining assistance and selected recycled-fibre drainage systems. The local process reference lists 30–40°C application temperature. Optimize dose, contact time, furnish and process pH to balance fibre treatment against excessive hydrolysis.
Standard packing is 200 L drums or IBC tanks. Store closed and cool and protect activity from heat, freezing and contamination. The aqueous enzyme reference is non-dangerous goods for transport, but enzyme aerosols can cause respiratory sensitization. Avoid spraying and high-pressure cleaning that disperses enzyme mist.
