What Is EDTA Iron 13% (EDTA-Fe)?
EDTA iron 13% (EDTA-Fe), CAS 15708-41-5, is an iron chelate that keeps iron available to plants in soils and nutrient solutions. It is used to correct iron chlorosis in fertigation, hydroponics and foliar sprays, and works best in slightly acidic to neutral conditions.
The grade has iron ≥13.0%, with limits on insoluble matter and heavy metals. Formula and molecular weight refer to the trihydrate.
It is not regulated as dangerous goods.
