What Is 3,3′-Diindolylmethane?
3,3′-Diindolylmethane, commonly called DIM, contains two indole groups joined through a methylene unit. CAS 1968-05-4 and ECHA List 606-355-3 identify the compound; the molecular formula is C17H14N2 and molecular weight 246.31 g/mol. DIM is chemically distinct from indole-3-carbinol.
