What Is Industrial Gelatin?
Industrial gelatin is a technical gelatin material derived from animal collagen. It is supplied as odorless yellow or light yellow granules for industrial processing. The specification defines gel strength, viscosity, pH, ash, moisture and transparency.
Sulfur dioxide, chromium and heavy metals are included in the technical quality profile. Packaging consists of kraft paper or plastic woven bags with a polymer inner liner. Store the material dry and protect the closed package from sunlight, water and heat.
