What Is Monopotassium Phosphate (MKP)?
Monopotassium phosphate (MKP, KH2PO4), CAS 7778-77-0, is a fully water-soluble fertilizer supplying phosphorus and potassium with no nitrogen. It is used in fertigation, foliar sprays and water-soluble NPK blends, especially at flowering and fruiting.
The grade has assay ≥99.0%, with P2O5 and K2O nutrient values, pH on a 1% solution and limits on moisture and insoluble matter. Avoid mixing concentrated solutions with calcium or magnesium fertilizers in the same tank.
It is not regulated as dangerous goods.
