The supply grade has GC purity ≥99.0% and tert-butyldimethylsilanol ≤0.5%; typical melting range is 85–91°C.
It is moisture-sensitive and ships as Class 4.1 flammable solid with subsidiary Class 8. Keep it dry and sealed.
