Commercial Information
Storage & Shipping
Storage Conditions
Keep tightly closed in a cool, dry, ventilated area away from sunlight and heat. Separate from oxidizers, strong acids and uncontrolled contact with curing agents.
Packaging Integrity
Inspect drums, IBC valves, closures and seals before unloading. Keep packages labelled, protect from damage and contamination, use clean transfer equipment and reseal promptly.
Packaging
20 kg / 200 kg drums / 1,000 kg IBC
Handling & Protection
Use controlled transfer and local ventilation where mist can form. Wear compatible chemical-resistant gloves, splash goggles and protective clothing; avoid contact with uncured epoxy liquid.
What Is Neopentyl Glycol Diglycidyl Ether (NGDE)?
Neopentyl glycol diglycidyl ether, abbreviated NGDE, is a difunctional aliphatic epoxy reactive diluent. It is selected to modify uncured-resin viscosity and the cured network in a complete epoxy formulation. The product name is neopentyl glycol diglycidyl ether; the legacy page path is preserved for continuity.
The grade specifies EEW 139–147 g/eq, epoxy value 0.68–0.72 eq/100 g and viscosity 10–25 mPa·s at 25°C. Hydrolyzable chloride, inorganic chlorine, water and colour limits support purchasing comparisons. Use these commercial-grade values rather than assuming a pure-molecule epoxy equivalent.
The TDS suggests 15–35 parts per 100 parts epoxy resin as a starting evaluation range. It is not a universal production dosage. Adjust the hardener requirement to the complete blend EEW and evaluate pot life, cure, adhesion, water exposure and mechanical performance.
Casting, flooring, adhesives and selected composite-winding systems require separate qualification. Prevent skin exposure, avoid transfer mist and keep the liquid away from uncontrolled acid, oxidizer or curing-agent contamination. The reference transport classification is non-dangerous goods.

Neopentyl Glycol Diglycidyl Ether (NGDE) FAQ
Which Neopentyl Glycol Diglycidyl Ether (NGDE) grade should I choose?
Compare EEW 139–147 g/eq and viscosity 10–25 mPa·s at 25°C, with colour, water and chlorine limits suited to your process. The suggested 15–35 parts per 100 parts resin is a trial starting range. Recalculate the hardener for the blend and test final performance.
Can I request a Neopentyl Glycol Diglycidyl Ether (NGDE) sample for testing?
Yes. We can provide free samples for testing. Tell us the application, the grade you need and the tests you plan to run.
How is Neopentyl Glycol Diglycidyl Ether (NGDE) packed and shipped?
Standard packing is 20 kg / 200 kg drums / 1,000 kg IBC. The usual MOQ is 1,000 kg, with a lead time of approximately 14 days from order confirmation. It ships as non-dangerous goods.
Which documents are available for Neopentyl Glycol Diglycidyl Ether (NGDE)?
The TDS lists the supply specification and the SDS covers safety and transport; both can be downloaded on this page. Each shipment comes with a batch COA.
