What Is Pyrrolidine?
Pyrrolidine (azacyclopentane), CAS 123-75-1, C4H9N, is a cyclic secondary amine. It is an intermediate for pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, rubber accelerators and corrosion inhibitors.
The supply grade has GC assay above 99.0%, water below 0.2% and colour ≤50 APHA; typical density is 0.85 g/mL at 25°C and boiling range 87–88°C.
It ships as Class 3 with subsidiary Class 8. It is flammable and corrosive, so use closed transfer and ventilation.
