N-methylaniline (NMA, monomethylaniline), CAS 100-61-8, C7H9N, is a secondary aromatic amine. It is used as an intermediate for dyes, agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals, and as an octane-enhancing fuel additive where permitted.
The supply grade has purity ≥99.0%, with aniline ≤0.3%, N,N-dimethylaniline ≤0.5% and moisture ≤0.2%.
It is toxic and ships as Class 6.1. Use closed handling and skin protection.
