Who We Are
China Chemical and Protein Ingredient Supplier
Hainan Zhongxin Chemical Co., Ltd. (ZXCHEM) is a chemical supplier and protein ingredient manufacturer in China, selling nutrition, health and chemical ingredients to manufacturers and distributors worldwide. We were founded in Haikou in 1995 and moved our head office to Shanghai in 2003.
Our R&D laboratory in Songjiang, Shanghai, works with the group's own factories on process improvement and on developing grades for specific customer applications.
Our service covers the full order cycle: grade selection and customization, technical support, raw-material sourcing, production follow-up, documentation, logistics and after-sales support.
Our portfolio includes animal proteins, plant proteins, disinfection chemicals, agricultural inputs, water-treatment chemicals and other specialty materials. Different products can be consolidated into one FCL or LCL shipment.

Is ZXCHEM a manufacturer or a trading company?
Both. We manufacture pea protein, collagen peptides, beef protein, gelatin, collagen casings and hydrolyzed keratin in our own factories in China, and supply chemicals from Chinese producers in which we hold equity.
Where is your head office?
Our head office is at Caohejing Center, Xuhui District, Shanghai. Our founding office in Haikou, Hainan is still in operation.
Can we visit your office or factories?
You are welcome to visit our Shanghai office by appointment to discuss your requirements. Factory visits and audits can be arranged once there is an established business relationship or a confirmed order.
Which international companies have you worked with?
Our customers include DSM, Kao, Elanco, Corning, Brenntag Specialties, ITOCHU, Julphar, ROHA (JJT Group), Neelikon, Novachem, SD Korea, Servimedic and EGL International, as well as the retail groups ALDI, METRO and SPAR.
Do you have offices outside China?
Yes. We have companies in Hong Kong, the United States and the United Arab Emirates, and an office in Egypt is in preparation. North American protein buyers can order from U.S. stock.

Which documents come with an order?
A COA comes with every shipment. TDS and SDS are available for each product, and certificates are provided per facility and product with the quotation.
